The Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto published Pulse Magazine twice a year. This is the Fall 2011 issue, full with illustrations meant to soften the harshness of the subject matter. I did two illustrations for it, which you can see below.
This illustration was meant to symbolize Knowledge Exchange. It was started in pencil, and finished on the computer.
This illustration accompanied an article about LaRon Nelson, a faculty member who works in HIV/AIDS prevention with men who have sex with men in Ghana, Africa.

Centre for Social Innovation Posters The Centre for Social Innovation is a creative hub located in downtown Toronto. In it, non-profits, charities, solopreneurs and other progressive organizations share space, exchange ideas and find ways to better the world. Tighty Whitey Benefit Toronto's People With AIDS Foundation raises funds each year with a car wash event in which hunks and hunkettes wear nothing but crisp white cotton underwear. Pride Toronto 2009 Postcards This is part of a series of postcards designed for Pride Toronto. Erick Pasibi collaborated on the design and the photographs were taken by Dean Tomlinson and Kevin Lam.
