TechSoup Murals

A set of five panels (four square, one rectangular) outlining the history of TechSoup Canada and inviting the community it serves to exchange ideas and wish the venture success.

TechSoup Murals
TechSoup Canada, Centre for Social Innovation
TechSoup Canada is an organization that helps charities and non-profits access software, hardware and computer-related expertise for a fraction of the retail cost of these services. To celebrate and promote their launch, Donnia Claudino, Marketing Manager, requested a set of temporary murals. The challenge: these murals had to be temporary, and they had to be finished in three days.

We chose the maple as a synbol of Canada (duh!), and a metaphor of the community that grows stronger as it develops roots spreads seeds. The panels highlight the history of TechSoup, from its beginnings in California, to their launch in Canada.

Tenants at the Centre for Social Innovation, TechSoup's home, were asked to fill in the bubbles with words of encouragment, success stories, and other community-building sentiments.
